On Sunday, Oct. 17th, five of the organizations the Missions Ministry supports sent guest speakers for our Sunday Service to explain the work they do in our community and in Connecticut.
Judy Fales, at right wearing her lovely African dress, spoke to us about her daughter and son-in-law’s mission with AIM. Also, Bonnie Larkin, Missions Ministry Committee member, enlightened us to the works of Pat and Don Barger with New Tribes Missions in Panama.

After the service, we held a soup-a-thon, free to the public. Our parishioners contributed 14 different soups and we had a yummy, social time!
This event was completed with a raffle. When the raffle proceeds were added to our donations, we received over $1,600.00 for our efforts. It is especially exciting to know we will be able to support all these wonderful groups as we had hoped.
